Rainforest Protector.

At a big ceremony, many celebrities use this chance to show their taste of fashion, but it’s also an occasion that lets people advocate for a movement. What male celebrities wear on the red carpet is usually ignored by media. The colorful suit with rainforest symbolic animals could make media more interested, bringing the important message of rainforest protection to the public.

YinYuan

In Chinese, YinYuan means “the happy fate which brings lovers together.” In Chinese myth, every person has an invisible red line that is tied on the little finger when they’re born, and the red line links to another person who is their destined lover. There’s a god that determines this affair, similar to Cupid. To represent this, I used thin lines to decorate the cloth.

Sound of Bamboo

When wind passes through the bamboo forest, the flowing air plays the pleasing melody of bamboo. It sounds like the flute with sough of bamboo leaves. Combining this concept with pop art, the colorful bamboo pattern represents the variety of melodies found in a bamboo forest.

Sport Wear

I seldom do the sport wear design. This was a design for a competition held by a functional fabrics company.

Alexander McQueen Collection.

Alexander McQueen is my favorite fashion designer and artist. These are three dresses from McQueen 2010 Spring/Summer collection. I drew them and added some sketching background for practicing fashion illustration.
